Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit organization that provides decent and affordable housing to families in need, recently expressed their gratitude for a substantial donation made by Bluestar.. This contribution, along with others from community supporters, has made a significant impact on the lives of 9 families this year, with a total of 38 lives changed and growing.
Thanks to these donations, families are now able to sleep comfortably in safe and secure homes that are also energy-efficient, helping to reduce their utility bills. Habitat for Humanity shared a heartwarming story of a single mother and her two boys who were able to move into a new home thanks to our support. Before their Habitat home, the boys had no space for toys or friends to visit, and they had to share sleeping space at night. They even used baskets instead of closets for their belongings. Now, each boy has his own bedroom and a family room that will become their playroom. The mother is also excited to have a private space of her own, complete with a bedroom, bathroom, and closet. These are everyday luxuries that many of us take for granted, but they can make a huge difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Habitat for Humanity expressed how our contribution and the contributions of other donors are making a real difference in the lives of families in need. With safe and secure homes, these families are able to relax and focus on just being a family. They’re able to make new memories and cherish moments they might have missed before.
